This association(ANSOB) wholly owes its existence to Ntare School, founded in 1956 in Mbarara district, Uganda by a one William Crichton, a scot (1956-71). Ntare is undoubtedly one of the most prestigious educational institutions in East Africa at high school level.
Known for its strong emphasis on academic excellence, discipline, and holistic development, the school has nurtured generations of leaders, professionals, and innovators. Ntare’s reputation as a top-performing school in the region is evidenced by its consistent stellar performance in national examinations and its extensive network of accomplished alumni.

The school holds a unique distinction of being the alma mater of two sitting presidents: H.E. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni of Uganda and H.E. Paul Kagame of Rwanda. This remarkable achievement underscores Ntare’s pivotal role in shaping leaders who have a profound impact on the East African region and beyond.
